Just got an ElitePad 900. Strange thing is when I booted it up it said that Windows needed to be activated. So I call HP and they said you will have to send it back. I though that was ridiculous so I start tinkering. I decided to install Office and see how it goes. Office installed just fine but I still had that Windows 8 not being activated. I could not figure it out until I tried to setup my Exchange account in Outlook and it gave me a certificate error. I knew the certificate was fine but come to find out the two seemingly unrelated issues were one in the same. Someone recommended I check the time and date on the ElitePad and what do you know that was it. It was a few months off and once I corrected that it was fine.
